“4th betas of macOS 10.12.4, iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2 can be accessed for register testers”
New beta versions of Apple’s operating system suite have been released on Monday. Developers who enroll in the beta testing programs can access to the beta 4 of MacOS 10.12.4, iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2 throught the Software Update mechanism on their devices (i.e. the Settings app in iOS and the App Store Updates tab in macOS).
As relatively minor updates, the 4th betas of MacOS 10.12.4, iOS 10.3, watchOS 3.2 include mostly small feature improvements,bug fixes, and security updates.
In recent beta releases, two remarkable features being tested are “Find My AirPods” in iOS 10.3 and “Night Shift” in macOS 10.12.4. Other features included in iOS 10.3 are migration to APFS, a new reviews API, iCloud-connected device calling for Verizon customers, and a floating one-handed keyboard for iPad users.
MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 also includes iCloud Analytics as an opt-in step at setup, and the Touch Bar support for App Store, and a host of bug fixes for Mac computer.
In watchOS 3.2, Theater Mode is introduced to “quickly mute the sound on their Apple Watch and avoid waking the screen on wrist raise”. The company also includes SiriKit to Apple Watch with watchOS 3.4 beta, which allows developers to ingegrate their apps with Siri to increase the interaction. Though being tested in multiple beta releases, those features might change till the final versions are rolled out to the public.
Generally, the final version of system software will go through several betas releases before it is made public. Over the past weeks Apple has released 4 betas for multiple system software. It is likely that the iOS 10.3 and macOS 10.12.4 would be available as final versions in March. Click here if you are interested in testing beta software.
