On Monday Apple released the fourth beta of the upcoming macOS Sierra 10.12.5 update to developers, just one week after the release of third beta and one month after seeding macOS Sierra 10.12.4. Developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center or through the Software Update mechanism in Mac App Store.
Later on the fourth beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 has been provided to public beta testers. Same as ever, the release notes accompanying the update do not offer much information about what’s included in the new beta software. The update is said to “improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac”. There is no notable changes were discovered in the first three betas, and for now we don’t know what new features or major bug fixes might be included in the macOS 10.12.5 update.
The fourth iOS 10.3.2 beta has also been released for testing on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It is currently available for registered developers and also public testers. Apple’s iOS 10.3 update has included Find My AirPods, a new APFS file system, CarPlay improvements and some. Changes and improvements that can be found in the latest betas include: new control center splash page, some tweaks in colors and layouts in Health app, quicker folder animations, reappeared date section widget, new emojis, etc. The official version is due to be released to the public this fall.
Apple also rolled out the fourth betas of watchOS 3.2.2 and tvOS 10.2.1, yet they are only available for registered developers. Released a month ago, watchOS 3.2 added some new features like Theater Mode and also SiriKit improvements. The latest update seems to include new watch face colors. To get the fourth beta of watchOS 3.2.2, developers first need to download it through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the matched iPhone, go to General > Software Update and install it from there.
To install the latest beta of tvOS, you need to connect the Apple TV 4 to a computer via USB-C cable, and download the update from dedicated developers website.
